New week

Hey there Ladies and Gents and Animals and Bacteria and umm... jetplanes?

We've hit a new week, so here is the roundup. On Thursday we will be releasing podcast number 005 which is huge because if you wrote it backwards it would be 500 and that's halfway to a thousand. So that's great... Sometime during the week, maybe tonight we will be doing a live stream of borderlands. Also we're hoping to get a let's play done and up on a youtube channel.

Bit of a Bender!

Billy and I have pretty much been pieces of crap the last few days.  This is the first day I have not had any alcohol since Thursday!  It was a lot of fun, and we did a lot of talking about what the podcast could & should be like in the future.  We found when a bunch of friends start drinking and telling stories... you have to mute or completely stop recording as the information being shared should not be let loose to the public.  We need to find a way to be natural, interesting, and delete anything not appropriate to be in a podcast!

Currently I am still working out the kinks of making an RSS feed.  It seems pretty easy so far, and once you make one you can send it to Itunes and other 'podcatchers' out there.  Our first guest is looking to be our friend that trains MMA and has even had a few fights!  Here is a pic of Billy to have something fun to look at

In between crying and searching for dildos in Deus Ex I managed to find good software to record your skype convos.  When doing a podcast it seems like you record the skype interview or discussion and then do post production afterwords.  Here are two programs we are rocking now.

Prettymay call recorder for skype:  The basic version lets you record 15 minutes of a conversation, the 20$ upgrade lets you record as much space as your harddrive can handle.  It has a second feature where you can share audio such as music or sound bites that you can use without even recording.  So if you want to play something funny or informative just open it & play it.  The other party hears it crystal clear and you don't have to buy anything!  Thanks pretty may, but we will just use you to share files during the call, not record... srsly though thx anyway kbye.

iFree Skype recorder for Skype(srsly thats the title):  Once you get through the broken 'Engrish' (thats a big snow hill) and run your anti-virus over it a few hundred times, you can feel very safe having this program on your computer!  It lets you select MONO recording which is amazing!  It also lets you pick your bitrate and frequency!  You do not have to pay anything and there seems to be no limit on recording length.  Probably the best free recorder you can get.

So feel free to get some audio and send it to us!  I bet you Billy is on chat roulette counting how many 'johnstons' he can find in an hour... johnstons. hahaaa dangly parts!

Hey guys, I was just informed by John than I'm to write a post via text (rude). I've been getting more and more concerned with him as he's now increased the amount of time he cries in the shower from 15 min to 45 min. Jk, anyways we've got all our podcast stuff pretty much ready I think, and lots of friends want to join in on the fun so I cant wait !!! :D. I'm hoping that we can podcast like once a week or two weeks mainly with me and John and our buddy Matthais and Adam. Then get out friends on and maybe even famous people like John Travolta. I played Deus Ex again for the first time in a while, man its good. I DID find a dildo in a secret room in the sewers of lower Hengshai . I was surprised to say the least. Anyways ttyl guys!!!
